FAQ

Two rooms, one brewery and a kitchen slinging pizza raises some questions. Parking, tickets, ages, dogs, growlers: here are the answers. If yours is not here, email us. Do not call. We famously do not check the messages.

General & Visiting

What exactly is Broken Goblet? +

A Bucks County brewery, concert hall and community room under one roof. We brew our own beer on-site, put national touring acts and local heroes on a real stage, and host everything from bingo to paint nights on the quieter side of the building. We started as a homebrew club, almost got sued over our first name, smashed a goblet in frustration, and here we are.

Where are you and where do I park? +

2500 State Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. Parking lots in the front and rear of the building, with plenty of room even on show nights.

Is the building wheelchair accessible? +

Yes. The rear entrance is our Handicapped Accessible entrance and also serves as a second way in. Rear parking puts you right next to it.

Can I bring my dog? +

Dogs are welcome on the patio only, unless they are registered service animals, who are welcome anywhere.

Do I need a reservation to come drink beer? +

No. Walk in during open hours, grab a stool, order a pint. Ticketed shows in the Music Room are the only thing you need to plan ahead for.

What are your hours? +

Mon and Tue closed, Wed and Thu 5 to 10, Fri 3 to 11, Sat 12 to 11, Sun 12 to 6. Hours can shift on holidays and big show days, so check the calendar or subscribe to the newsletter before making the drive.

What is the best way to reach you? +

Email info@brokengoblet.com. The phone works too, but we famously do not check the messages.

The Two Rooms

What is the difference between the Music Room and the Mixing Room? +

The Music Room is the loud one: a real stage, a real PA, and a room built to sweat in. The Mixing Room is the other one: bingo, tabletop D&D, paint and sip, acoustic sets and community hangs, all at a volume where you can still talk. Same building, same beer, two very different nights.

How do I know which room my event is in? +

Every listing on the calendar is tagged Music Room or Mixing Room. When in doubt, the loud one is the Music Room.

Can I still get a beer in the taproom during a show? +

Yes. A ticket gets you the show, and the beer flows on both sides of the building either way.

Are Mixing Room events ticketed? +

It varies. Some community nights are free to walk into, others like paint and sip have a fee that covers materials. Each calendar listing spells it out.

Shows & Tickets

Where do I buy tickets? +

Through the shows calendar on this site. Skip the third-party resellers; if a ticket did not come from us, we cannot vouch for it.

Are shows all-ages? +

Most shows are all-ages, but not all of them. The age policy is listed on every show, so check the listing before bringing the kid or the crew.

What is the difference between doors and show time? +

Doors is when you can get in, order a beer and claim your spot. Show is when the music starts. Both are on every listing.

Can I buy tickets at the door? +

If the show has not sold out, yes. The room caps at 300, and the good shows go, so buying ahead is the safe move.

Is there seating at Music Room shows? +

It depends on the show. Some nights are standing room, some have seating. The listing will say.

The Beer

What is on tap right now? +

Six rotating house beers, brewed on-site and poured fresh. The live tap list is on our Beer page and on Untappd, where it updates as kegs kick.

Do you do flights? +

Yes. Any four beers in 5oz pours. It is the right way to meet the lineup.

Can I take beer home? +

Crowlers sealed to go and growlers filled at the bar, refillable any time.

Food & the Pizza Pit

Do you serve food? +

The Pizza Pit runs the kitchen from inside the Mixing Room. Pizza and beer under the same roof, the way it should be.
